For motorcycles with engine power over 35KW is required a valid full, unrestricted motorcycle licence and minimum experience of 1 year. For motorcycles with engine power up to 35KW is required a valid, restricted to 35KW motorcycle licence. The licence must be valid for driving a motorcycle in Romania an any other country where you want to use your rented motorcycle.
It is recommended to obtain an International Driver’s Permit, but as long as your license is understandable, it can be accepted.
All rentals includes along with the motorcycle, original equipment side-cases, rollbags from 35L to 60L depending on availability, rain suits, cable lock or disc brake lock, Third Party and Comprehensive Insurance and unlimited mileage inside Romania. All of our motorcycles are passenger friendly.
The side cases and the top case instaled on our motorcycles are lockable using the contact key. The rollbags are not lockable and you shouldn’t leave them on the motorcycle unwatched.
Yes, we offer BMW Navigator V GPS systems. Please note that GPS systems are subject of availability, therefore we suggest you to have GPS added to your reservation at the time of booking.
Yes, we can store your luggage at our office while you are enjoying the ride.
We recommend that the renter should bring his own equipment for best fitment and comfort, but motorentals.ro offers for rent helmets and rain suits. We are making efforts to offer other pieces of motorcycle equipment in the near future.
The motorcycles are coming with a full tank of fuel at the start of your rental, and should be returned with a full tank of fuel as well. If the motorcycle is returned with less than a full tank of fuel you will incur a refueling charge.

Our normal working hours are from Monday to Friday from 09:00 AM to 19:00 PM, local time. If your pick up/return of the motorcycle can not be done between our hours of operation we will discuss and arrange the details by mail.
At the time of booking you must pay 30% of the total price of rental of the motorcycle, accessories and services you choose. At pick up time the balance must be paid, along with the safety deposit authorization on your credit card.
Rental rates are calculated 24 hour increments. If you are picking up the motorcycle today at 9 AM, 1 day of rental ends tomorrow at 9 AM.
Third Party and Comprehensive Insurance are included in the rentals rate.
Yes, you can ship your gear to us and we can ship it back to you along with your souvenirs, but please remember that you are responsible with the shipping costs both ways.
Yes, in Romania and it’s neighboring countries it is mandatory to wear an approved safety helmet while riding a motorcycle. The passenger must comply with the same rule.
